Policies & Procedure

     Upon booking we take a $50.00-$1000.00 deposit (depending on the size of the order) which is non-refundable, if you choose to cancel, as per Manitoba Law. Final payment is due at delivery or customer pick-up, whichever applies to you. No exceptions. Cheques are to be made out to Knight Rentals.

     We get approximate numbers of all items at initial booking and final numbers are due 1 month prior. Out-right cancellation of items after the deposit is received, will be subject to a 50% charge of the cost of the cancelled item. Last minute (the week of) additional items are subject to an additional $25.00 charge if items are available. 

    40' wide tents MUST BE rented with tables and chairs, you can't just rent the tent. However you can rent just a 30' wide tent. 
 
    All tents require 5' on all sides for staking.
 
    Generally we deliver on Wednesdays & Thursdays, occasionally Fridays at the customers request or sometimes in the case of Ceremony Only tents. Pick ups are usually later on Sunday afternoon or Monday, depending on what is going on and the weather. Customer pick-ups can be made after 8:00 am on Fridays, returns must be by end of the business day on Mondays.
 
    We usually have people from the rental party assist in the set up of the tent. If help is not available there may be an extra charge. We set up Dance Floors. We DO NOT set up Tables, Chairs or Lights.

    How the tent looks when the crew leaves is how it is to look when they arrive back to do the take down. There is no help required for the take down. 

    Tables must be wiped down and folded. Chairs are to be folded and stacked in stacks of 25 or 50. Lights must be put back into provided containers. Dinnerware, glassware and linens do not need to be cleaned, just put back in their provided containers. Failure to comply may result in extra charges. Click HERE for a basic list of duties to avoid such charges.

    As we set up earlier than most companies there is plenty of time prior to the event to address any possible issues, therefore any issues MUST be dealt with prior to your function. If there is a problem of any kind we will certainly have it dealt with long before your function starts. 

    We are big on safety; in the event you are renting a tent, we require locates by MTS and HYDRO for their wiring and lines. You are responsible for any additional checks with an electrician if the wiring is your own. We require a clearance of 3' below and 21' above ground for tent setup.

    Any damaged/missing items are of course charged out once everything is home and checked. Damaged items are NOT returned to the customer. Due to limited space, they are disposed of immediately after all measures are taken to recover them.
 
    There may be a $25.00 charge for linens returned un-shaken. Non-compliance has resulted in this extra charge, so SHAKE and SAVE! No glitter dust please! A cleaning surcharge may apply if glitter dust is used.
 
    We supply Kwik Covers for all round tables. Chairs come clean and bagged. Dance floors are cleaned but may have a bit of dust on them from traveling in the trailer.

    We do not do contracts, we do have a rental agreement signed at time of set up/pick up, click HERE for a copy.

    No Crepe Paper decorations or pins may be used on the canopy or walls of the tents.

    Mileage is calculated from Neepawa to setup site. Call for our current mileage rates.
